Prepared in no time at all
Ingredients:
- 100 g gluten-free oatmeal
- 1 liter of cold water
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
- A pinch vanilla powder (optional)
- 3–4 dates, pitted (optional, not used in the basic recipe)
Preparation:
- Prepare ingredients:
Place the oats and water in a high-speed blender. Add maple syrup and/or vanilla powder to taste to give your oat milk a sweet, vanilla flavor. - Mix:
Blend on high for about 30–45 seconds until smooth. If you are using dates, add them at this point and blend again. - Filter:
Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine cloth into a bowl or jug. Squeeze the mixture well to extract the oat milk. - Enjoy:
Pour the finished oat milk into a clean bottle or carafe. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days. Shake well before use!
