Use this Brain Shot when:
- You feel burdened beyond your limits
- You need a refresher
- You feel like you’re missing something your body needs, or you feel like you’re left empty-handed
- You’ve given so much of yourself that you feel like you can’t give anything more
- You are overloaded
- You rely on caffeine to concentrate and gain energy
- You feel like you’re shorting out or falling apart
- You have an allergic reaction to work or to those around you
- You feel like you are losing or missing a part of yourself
- You can’t seem to concentrate because you feel exhausted on every level
Ingredients for 1–2 shots:
- 1.3 cm fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup tightly packed pea shoots
- 1/2 cup tightly packed alfalfa sprouts
- 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen pitaya (red dragon fruit) or 1/4 cup peeled and chopped grapefruit
- 2 raw medium spears asparagus (¼ cup chopped)
- 1/2 stick of celery
(The American cup measurement includes the amount of approx. 250 ml per cup.)
Preparation:
Juice all ingredients in a juicer in the order listed. Put through a sieve again.
Pour into a glass and serve!
Tip:
Allow 15 to 30 minutes before and after this elixir to eat or drink for 15 to 30 minutes.
