Ingredients for 1 to 2 servings
For the shake:
- 2 large frozen bananas
- 360ml unsweetened almond milk, Coconut milk, Coconut water or water (for the fat-free version, choose water or coconut water)
- 1 teaspoon Chaga powder
- 2 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 tbsp dried mulberries, for serving (optional)
For the sauce:
- 70 g pitted Medjool dates
- 240 ml warm water
- ¼ tsp vanilla powder or non-alcoholic vanilla extract
Preparation:
To make the sauce, place the dates, warm water and vanilla in a high-speed blender. Depending on the quality of the dates, it is better to start with a little less water so that the sauce does not become too runny. Puree into a homogeneous mass. Set aside for a moment.
For the shake, process the bananas, the selected liquid, the chaga powder and the dates in the blender to form a creamy shake.
Spread a few tablespoons of the date sauce in a glass and pour the shake over it. Garnish with dried mulberries if desired and serve immediately.
Bon appetit!
