Pea­nut but­ter, quick and easy to make yours­elf! Whe­ther as a spread, in smoothies or as a top­ping for fruit. A real moment of enjoyment!

Ingre­di­ents:

  • 250 g pea­nuts (raw for a mil­der tas­te or roas­ted for a more inten­se aroma)
  • Optio­nal: some map­le syrup or Honey for sweetening
  • Optio­nal: a pinch sea-salt
  • Optio­nal: some Cin­na­mon for a spi­cy finish

Pre­pa­ra­ti­on:

  1. Place the pea­nuts in a blen­der and puree on medi­um speed until a cre­a­my con­sis­ten­cy is achieved.
  2. Add map­le syrup, honey, salt or cin­na­mon as desi­red and mix well.
  3. For a crun­chy ver­si­on: rough­ly chop some raw or roas­ted pea­nuts and stir into the finis­hed puree.
  4. Pour the finis­hed pea­nut but­ter into a clean glass jar and store in the ref­ri­ge­ra­tor. It will keep for up to 3 weeks.
