Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 large broccoli, cut into florets
For the sauce:
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 120 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 60 ml honey
- 60 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped chili peppers
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 grated garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp Atlantic dulse flakes
- 2 Tea spoons Arrowroot flour
Preparation:
Steam the broccoli in a pot with a steamer insert for 5 to 8 minutes until soft.
To make the sauce, combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sauce thickens, stirring frequently so that nothing burns.
Add the broccoli to the sauce and serve immediately hot.
Steamed potatoes go very well with this.
