Oil pulling is a waste of time
So you can save yourself the 20-minute sipping and sucking of coconut oil or other oils through your teeth.
Not only is oil pulling a waste of time, it has the potential to harm your health. Bacteria love to be surrounded by fat and so with oil pulling (e.g. with coconut oil) you may achieve exactly the opposite of the desired effect.
The better alternative to oil pulling
An alternative and far more effective oral therapy is to use Celery juice. Simply replace the oil with celery juice. You should also rinse your mouth well with the celery juice, then you can swallow the celery juice. How often you want to use this technique depends on the severity of your symptoms Celery Juice (p.110, Kindle version).
Since celery juice has an extremely positive effect on the teeth, anyone with mild dental problems and anyone who wants to take preventive measures should drink some of the celery juice in the morning. People who are dealing with more dental problems can fill a second glass with celery juice in the morning and use it to carry out further “oral celery juice therapies” throughout the day. Don’t let the simplicity of this method stop you, it’s incredibly effective.
